The Soft Tissue Surgery Service is managed by Jonathan Bell and Scott Rutherford. They are happy to accept referrals across the whole range of soft tissue procedures, including:
- Thoracic surgery for lung lobectomy, PDA, vascular ring anomalies, and chylothorax
- ENT surgery for laryngeal tie-back, brachycephalic airway syndrome, tracheal collapse, total ear canal ablation, nasal tumour investigations, and aspergillosis
- Intraluminal stenting for tracheal collapse
- GI surgery
- Hepatobiliary surgery for porto-systemic shunts, hepatic lobe resection, biliary diversions and cholecystectomy
- Oncologic surgery and reconstruction
- Wound management and reconstruction
- Urinary incontinence work-ups and treatment (ectopic ureter surgery, surgery or collagen injections for SMI)
The Soft Tissue service will always endeavour to see urgent cases at very short notice.
