Physiotherapy

You would probably expect to have physiotherapy yourself rather than take your pet for a physiotherapy appointment but animals gain just the same benefits from this form of treatment.

Physiotherapy works with and aids the body’s natural healing processes to gain the maximum recovery following a large range of musculoskeletal problems. From after injury and surgery to long term conditions such as arthritis to performance problems, physiotherapy can help your pet return to full fitness.

Using the appropriate combination of exercise, hydrotherapy, electrotherapy and ‘hands on’ treatment we set up an individual treatment plan for each animal. This includes setting up a home programme for you to continue the rehabilitation process out of the clinic.

Whatever the problem physiotherapy aims to achieve the highest outcome for your pet and return your animal to full function and quality of life as quickly as possible.
