Croft Animal Hospital, Cramlington, Northumberland is a regional veterinary hospital offering “Accident and Emergency” services to the pet owners of Tyneside and Northumberland as well as a Specialist, Referral and Consultancy service across a number of specialties including Small Animal Surgery (orthopedic, soft-tissue and neuro), Internal Medicine, Dermatology and Ophthalmology.
Access to the specialist, Referral and Consultancy is through referral by a primary care/your veterinary surgeon – we regularly accept referrals from veterinary practices across the region from the Borders in the North, as far south as Leeds – York and West as far as the sea.
The hospital is a 16,000 ft.² of purpose-built facility conveniently located on the A19 Trunk Rd approximately 2 miles east of its junction with the A1 just north of Newcastle upon Tyne. The hospital features four fully equipped sterile operating theatres, on-site diagnostic lab, physiotherapy and rehabilitation unit, modern diagnostic imaging centre including x-ray, ultrasound and CT, intensive care unit, hospitalisation for approximately 100 patients including separate wards for dogs, cats and rabbits, as well as a separate medical isolation ward. Staffed by a team of 10 veterinary surgeons supported by more than 20 veterinary nurses and receptionists, the full services of the Hospital are available round-the-clock.
